Reporting to the Director of Development, and working closely with the Manager of Individual Giving, the Development Operations Manager will provide administrative and logistical support for the Development office, including managing the operations of the office, maintaining the Development calendar and administrative organizations, managing data in the donor database, accurate and timely processing of gifts, generating reports and mailing lists, producing thank you letters, helping plan and staff donor events, and assisting with Board of Trustees communications and materials.
This position works in multi-faceted operations of a comprehensive and integrated Development Department and will require regular contact with a variety of external and internal constituencies, including staff, donors, patrons, and members of the Board of Trustees. This is a year-round, full-time position, and benefits include paid vacation, health insurance, and retirement plan.
The incumbent will have strong attention to detail, effective written and oral communication skills, and experience in managing databases. The successful candidate will also be a collaborative member of the Development team and a strategic, flexible, positive, and curious thinker.
