COVID-19 Code of Courtesy
Shakespeare & Company will present a selection of Mask-required Performances for indoor shows during the remainder of the season. These shows are marked with a white 'i' (information) in our Performance Calendar.*
In addition, to help ensure the safety of all our visitors, artists, and staff, and to guard against the spread of COVID-19 at all shows, Shakespeare & Company has implemented the following COVID-19 Code of Courtesy during all in-person, Shakespeare & Company sponsored activities on the campus.
All individuals, regardless of vaccination status, must comply with these protocols. If you have any questions or concerns, please call our Box Office team at (413) 637-3353.
* Previews and Opening Nights are also noted by a white ‘i’.
General COVID-19 Policy Information
- All patrons are strongly encouraged to receive a COVID-19 booster shot prior to attending any performances.
- Masks are encouraged but optional at all outdoor performances and most indoor performances; for enhanced audience comfort and safety, masks will be required at select indoor performances for the remainder of the season. All ticket-holders for Mask-required Performances must wear a mask while indoors; please inquire at the Box Office for dates and times of Mask-required Performances, or refer to our online performance calendar.
- When worn, masks should cover your mouth and nose; fit snugly against the sides of your face, and be a surgical, multi-ply cloth, N95, or KN95 mask. Masks cannot have an exhalation valve or be constructed of a single layer of fabric. Gaiters, scarves, and buffs are not a substitute for a multi-layer mask.
- If you are not feeling well or are experiencing symptoms of COVID-19 as defined by the CDC or have been exposed to anyone with the virus within the last 10 days, please delay your visit to a later time and contact us to discuss rescheduling options.
- These guidelines are an important part of our plan for your safety and of our obligations to the Actors' Union. If you do not adhere to these guidelines, we reserve the right to have you removed from the premises.
- If you feel you are unable to comply with the COVID-19 Code of Courtesy, we ask that you refrain from attending events at our venue until these requirements change. Thank you in advance for your cooperation.
Please note: as the conditions of the global health pandemic are ever-evolving, these guidelines are subject to change and will be updated accordingly.
