MaConnia is (The Center for Actor Training’s Administrative Director, an actor, and a producer. Las Season, she earned a Berkshire Theatre Award for Outstanding Solo Performance for her role as The Poet in An Iliad, and has been seen in several Shakespeare & Company productions including King Lear, The Merry Wives of Windsor, As You Like It, Intimate Apparel, and many others. She’s also appeared with the Notre Dame Shakespeare Festival, WAM Theatre, Ancram Opera House, Actors’ Shakespeare Project, Kennedy Center, NJ Rep, and several other companies, and has appeared is a Helen Hayes Award-nominee, and has appear in film and on television with credits including The Shape of Destiny (Official selection,

2018 Women in Comedy Festival) and HBO’s “The Wire.” MaConnia’s education includes The Center for Actor Training at Shakespeare & Company, the National Conservatory of Dramatic

Arts, and Alcorn State University.
